About these terms
General information
The website describes our services and provides general business information. It does not take account of every visitor’s objectives, circumstances or obligations and is not a substitute for advice tailored to your situation.
Unless expressly stated in a separate engagement with an appropriately authorised professional, website content is not legal, tax, financial product, migration or clinical advice. Obtain relevant professional advice before relying on information for a significant decision.
We take reasonable care with website content, but laws, technology, market conditions and service availability can change. Contact us to confirm information that is material to your decision.
Enquiries and service engagements
Sending an enquiry, requesting a proposal, booking an introductory discussion or downloading a resource does not by itself create a paid consulting engagement or an obligation for SCG to accept work.
Paid services are subject to a separately accepted proposal, statement of work or service agreement. That document sets out the relevant scope, responsibilities, fees, deliverables, timing, payment arrangements and any cancellation or termination provisions. It governs the engagement if it conflicts with these website terms, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Service descriptions are indicative. Availability and suitability are assessed for each enquiry. Third-party charges, subscriptions, advertising spend, government fees and travel costs will be identified in the proposal where relevant and will not be incurred on your behalf without the required agreement.
Prices and indicative timeframes
Unless clearly stated otherwise, monetary amounts on the website are in Australian dollars. Any advertised price will explain its GST treatment and relevant inclusions or conditions. Your written proposal will specify the applicable fees and GST.
Published examples, estimates and timeframes are illustrative unless expressly offered as a fixed commitment. Project timing may depend on scope, information, approvals, candidate availability and third-party processes. Any binding milestones are addressed in the engagement agreement.
Outcomes and specialist services
We do not promise a particular revenue result, saving, search ranking, number of leads, staff placement, funding decision, registration, audit outcome or regulatory approval unless a specific commitment is expressly included in your engagement agreement and can lawfully be made. Examples and testimonials do not guarantee the same outcome for another business.
International staffing and outsourcing arrangements require a separate agreement identifying the service model and responsibilities. A sourcing introduction does not by itself make SCG the employer, payroll provider or employer of record. Recruitment support does not include visa or migration advice unless separately arranged with an appropriately authorised adviser.
Company formation and nominee director enquiries are subject to suitability, due diligence and separate arrangements. A director has genuine legal responsibilities. Company establishment does not guarantee a bank account, visa, licence or tax treatment.
NDIS consulting is business support. SCG is not acting as the NDIA, the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission or an independent certification body when providing that support.
Permitted website use
You may access the website and use its information for lawful personal or internal business purposes. You must not deliberately interfere with its operation, introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, impersonate another person, or use its forms to send unlawful, misleading, abusive or unsolicited promotional material.
Please provide accurate contact information and share information about another person only where you are authorised to do so. Do not submit passwords, identity documents, participant records or health information through a general enquiry form. We can arrange an appropriate method of sharing information when needed.
Intellectual property
Website text, branding, graphics and other materials are owned by SCG or used under licence, except where otherwise indicated. You may view, print or download reasonable extracts for personal or internal business reference, keeping copyright notices and attribution intact.
You must not sell, republish, redistribute or present our materials as your own without permission, except as permitted by law or an express resource licence. Ownership and permitted use of work prepared for a paying client are determined by the separate engagement agreement, not these website terms.
Links and third-party services
The website may link to external websites, software, messaging services or other resources. Those services are operated by their respective providers and may have their own terms and privacy policies. A link does not by itself constitute an endorsement.
We do not control third-party content or availability. This does not exclude any responsibility that SCG has under applicable law or an agreed service engagement.
Privacy
Availability and responsibility
We may maintain, update or temporarily restrict the website for reasonable operational, security or legal reasons. We cannot promise uninterrupted access or that every item will always be current. Use appropriate security precautions when downloading files or following links.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, remedy or other right under the Australian Consumer Law or another law where doing so would be unlawful. This includes any applicable rights concerning the quality of services and remedies for a failure to meet a consumer guarantee.
Subject to those rights, we do not warrant that general website information will be suitable for every purpose. Any claim concerning a paid service will be assessed under the applicable agreement and law. These website terms do not impose a blanket exclusion of SCG’s liability for its own conduct.

Governing law and concerns
These website terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia and applicable Commonwealth laws. The courts of Western Australia have non-exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you have to bring a claim elsewhere.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. If you have a concern about the website, please contact us so we can consider it. Contacting us first does not remove any right to approach a regulator or court.
